The Fallingbrook neighbourhood in the east end of Orleans, This neighbourhood is in between St. Joseph Blvd & Innes Rd and extends east from 10th Line to Trim Rd, and slightly beyond. The main street through the neighbourhood is the semi-circular Charlemagne Blvd. The Taylor Creek Business park lies just north of St Joseph Blvd, providing light-industrial employment. Until 1985, Fallingbrook was mostly farmland, and by 2012 its population grew to 31,000 residents, of whom 42% of residents are unilingual English, 4% are unilingual French, and 54% are bilingual

The Fallingbrook Community Association plays a big part in bringing the town together. To help reunite the community, they hold various local events that encourage people to get active within their community. Among these program and events are Canada Day, Summerfest, Neighbourhood Watch program and a community garage sale in the early springtime.

The Orleans Avalon-Notting Gate-Fallingbrook-Gardenway South neighbourhoods of Orleans are located just south of St. Joseph Boulevard, with Navan Road as the southern boundary, Trim Road to the east, and Mer Bleue to the west.

Homes

Orleans Avalon-Notting Gate - Fallingbrook is a new neighbourhood, and only 3% of homes pre-date 1980, and 7% were built between 1981 and 1985, and 45% built 1986 to 1995, with 45% built after 1996. Of the 10,000 homes in Fallingbrook.

By 2006, Orleans Avalon area had 10,039 dwellings: 64% of these were single detached, 1.4% are semi-detached, 33% are row houses, nearly 1% are apartment duplexes, less than 1% were apartments with more than 5 stories, and close to 1% were apartments less than 5 stories. The great majority (96%) owned, while 4.6% of residents rented their homes

Shopping

The area borders on a big box shopping area on Innes Road, wet of Mere Bleue Rd, with stores like Canadian Tire, Walmart, PetSmart, Home Outfitters, Lowers, Ricki's, Bouclair, Future Shop, and Shoppers Drug Mart. To the north west of the community is the Place d'Orleans Shopping Centre.

Recreation

The Ray Friel Recreational (off 10th Line Rd) has a public library, a high school, an indoor wave pool, exercising facilities, a physiotherapy clinic, a sports store, a restaurant, 2 soccer fields and 3 skating arenas.

The community has lots of parkland, especially along Taylor Creek, accompanied by recreational pathways. One of Fallingbrook's natural beauties is Princess Louise Falls that can be found bellow of Princess Louise Drive on the escarpment down to St Joseph Blvd, where the falls are obscured by foliage but easily accessible by the pedestrian trails.

Below the community of Fallingbrook (that is, to the north) flows the Ottawa River, with In the Ottawa River with the Petrie Island parklands, spread over several small sandbar islands, and a beach, connected via Trim Road. The marina there offers canoe and kayak rentals.
